Our Staff
Dr. Erin Strong Causey grew up in Orangeburg, SC, and received her undergraduate education from Wofford College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry in Charleston where she received the SC Dental Association Award for the graduate with the highest Ethical, Clinical, and Academic achievement. She practiced in Austin, Texas, for over a year before deciding to return to her roots in South Carolina. She established Northeast Columbia Family Dentistry in 2010 and loves keeping up with all her wonderful patients!
Dr. Causey is currently active in the SC Dental Association, the Greater Columbia Dental Association, various continuing education classes, and providing dental care to the underserved in volunteer clinics.
Her husband, Ryan, is a Myrtle Beach native and a graduate of The Citadel. They have an energetic little boy, James, who keeps them busy! In their free time, they are active in their church, love to travel, and take frequent family trips to the park and zoo!
Dana has been a registered dental hygienist with our practice since 2010. She has had the opportunity to live in many different states and countries and is relatively new to South Carolina. In her free time, she is very active in her church and is a talented artist.
Debbie has been a registered dental hygienist for 26 years. She worked at this office 15 years ago, and we are glad to have her back! She has lived in South Carolina most of her life and loves spending time with her large family and her daughter, Jamie-Grae.
Martha has been with the practice since 1998 and helps Dr. Causey as her primary dental assistant. She grew up in Southern California and has lived with her husband in South Carolina for eighteen years. Martha has one son and enjoys motorcycles, her Great Dane Murphy and her Poodle Rosie.
Carmen is the practice's office manager and has been with the practice since 2008. She is very knowledgeable on dealing with insurance companies and can help with any insurance or pricing questions. Carmen grew up in Pageland, SC, and graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Business. In her free time, she loves running, spending time with her husband, daughter, and family, and staying active with her church.
